We are very proud of the children who represented our school on 22nd January, along with children from St Patrick's NS, to represent safe steps in asking for a safer commute to school.  The children were fortunate to get a tour of the chambers from Ray Cunningham, and presented a letter at a Dublin City Council meeting which was highlighting the troubles they face walking to school.  We really hope that this will continue to put pressure on the Council.

There was also great news at the meeting that St Patrick's NS will have a School Warden from Easter - we are aiming to put pressure on them to make it a joint warden as well as pushing for the promised flashing lights to make our  school more obvious.  A new crossing is being designed from Mullingar House over to St Patrick's NS as well so half the battle, we just need to keep fighting for Sean's Bar junction to be made safer.
